Hi Alex,

I resent the earlier hymns again with an attached scan of a hymn including
muisc,  It has not yet appered in my mailbox so i am thinking maybe the list
will not pass on the file with the attachemt?  here is the rest of the note
as sent though and see if it makes it to you w/o the attachment

well here is a second try. (now 3rd)  also enclosed is a Jpeg file (
admittingly too
large!) of  a scan with music staff.  ( this file NOT included with this 3rd
attempt)

I tried to scan the hymns but had very little success converting it to text
using textbridge so I ended up typing this by hand.  There are quite a
number more.... I think in interest of time,  it would be better to
photocopy and sail mail if you are actually still interested.   Let me know
what you think.  I am rather new at this scanning, conversion stuff and
really do not know th best way to go about it......

by the way,  I am curious.  you and ken had had the following re:
orthography
can you tell me more regarding orthography and what differences there are.
I know little of this and am quite curious.

I have a first draft of a perl script cala2unico.pl, which is
intended to perform the conversion to Alfabeto Unico.  I'll send
a copy to Alex, who seems interested.  Anyone else who wants
a copy can email me privately
