  1. Xerox Aymara Morphological Analyzer A prototype that was built using Xerox Finite-State Technology by Ken Beesley. The system accepts Aymara words written in the standard Alfabeto Único or Yapita orthographies and returns morphological analyses and rough glosses in Spanish or English. The current system is a very small research project, incomplete, rough, and not even close to becoming a commercial system. The dictionary contains only a few hundred root entries. The analyzer is based mostly on information from the book Aymara: Compendio de estructura fonologica y gramatical by M.J. Hardman, J. Vásquez and J.D. Yapita, La Paz:ILCA, 1988.
